As an UNIX System Hardware Engineer, you will monitor hardware and software and respond to problems, utilizing hardware and software tools and techniques.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting hardware and software problems with servers and storage systems
- Performing standard UNIX Administration procedures and commands.
- Installing and upgrading hardware, software and firmware
- Applying patches
Skills:
Advanced expertise of Sun Solaris Servers, Hardware, Software and Firmware.
Good knowledge of one of the following Operating Systems: HP-UX and/or AIX is an advantage.
You are bilingual Dutch/English.
You are a born troubleshooter with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Being a team player, you are keen to learn and to offer your support and expertise to technical engineers.
You are willing to be “on call”.
